Originally from Clemmons, NC, Hunter is a first-year undergraduate student studying Business Administration. In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing golf, and hanging out with friends. Adaliene is a first-year student from Cincinnati, Ohio. Currently her major is biology, but she is excited to explore new interests while at UNC. Mary Catherine Ellington
Residing in Reidsville, NC, Mary Catherine is a first-year UNC student majoring in Biology. She also serves in various volunteer-based activities within her community such as Teen Court and received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, spending time with friends and family (and her English Bulldog Mack), and reading. She hopes to eventually become a Dentist. Win Geigerman
Win Geigerman is a freshman double majoring in Computer Science and Political Science. His favorite pastimes are programming, piano, and learning languages – currently he’s working on Français, but he’s gotten a significant chunk of 中文 and Español under his belt. Win is looking forward to an exciting English semester (despite the chaos)! Residing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Will Gobble is a first-year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with the intended major of Biomedical Engineering. In his free time, he loves to race motocross with his father and explore new places with his friends. He one day hopes to travel the world with loved ones. Caroline Hicks
Caroline Hicks is a first-year undergraduate student from Richmond, Virginia. While majoring in Biology, she hopes to continue on the Pre-Medical track and one day become a Pharmacist. Victoria Jackson was born in Mesa, Arizona but most recently moved to Chapel Hill from Wilmington, NC. She is a first year student studying Neuroscience with a minor in Spanish on the pre med track. John Kurz
John is from the small town of Pittsboro, North Carolina, and is currently a Freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In his free time he enjoys seeing friends and family, working out, playing sports, and adventuring. With science and math being his strengths, John is currently a Biomedical Engineering major, but he also enjoys studying culture, language, and geography. Originally from Raleigh, NC Juju is a first-year undergraduate student studying pre-nursing. In her free time, she loves to travel, play basketball and volleyball, and try new restaurants. Alexis Plemmons
Alexis is a first-year undergrad student from Lewisville, North Carolina. She is studying Biology in hopes of one day going to Med-School and becoming a Pediatrician. Tilghman Pope
Tilghman Pope is from Dunn, North Carolina which, for those of you who have never heard of it, is a small town in the Piedmont area. Tilghman has grown up in Dunn his entire life and has been Tar Heel born and bred. He is a big outdoors guy and spends most of his free time fishing, hunting, or being outdoors. He also enjoys playing football and basketball. Tilghman is a business major, having a strong suit in math although he enjoys writing. He listens to a lot of music and appreciates all genres. Originally from Denton, NC, Taylor is currently a first year undergrad student majoring in political science. She enjoys going to concerts, working out, and painting. Josh Remeis
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Josh is a first year student at UNC studying business with a minor in entrepreneurship. He typically plays soccer and golf, goes fishing, or takes pictures in his free time, but he is always ready to take on any adventure. Megan Schleiniger
Megan Schleiniger is a first-year student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Originally from South Florida, she now lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently, Megan is studying Neuroscience with hopes of becoming a neurologist. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as traveling whenever she gets the chance. ChaVon Shade
ChaVon Shade is from the small town of Wilson, North Carolina and is a freshman at UNC-Chapel Hill. As a junior in high school, she toured UNC on Earth day and fell in love with every aspect of the university. At the school, the tour guide emphasized the friendships and connections made on campus instead of boasting the school’s greatness in academics and sports, which drew ChaVon into the school even more and ultimately led her to become a Tar Heel. Growing up, ChaVon always loved learning about different cultures and dreamed of traveling the world. Her love for our great big world has led her to major in Global Studies with a possible minor in business or Spanish. Besides academics, ChaVon loves almost everything in the art field, her two favorite hobbies being photography and dance. ChaVon began dancing when she was a toddler, and now she cannot see her life without dance. Recently ChaVon has found a love for photography and likes to challenge herself to find the aesthetic beauty in everyday items that are usually overlooked. Claire Snider
Claire is a first-year undergraduate student majoring in biology at UNC. She was a “Tar Heel born and bred” in a small town outside of Charlotte, NC. She enjoys traveling, competitive cheerleading, and spending her summers working as a camp counselor. Zhehao Wang
Zhehao Wang is a first year student at UNC. He currently resides in Zhejiang, China and will move to Chapel Hill when in-person semester starts. He majors in computer science.
